Ministry of Transport and Logistics

The main mission of the Ministry of Transport is to implement the government's transport policy.

Civil Aviation (ANAC)

Under the authority of the Ministry of Transport, the National Agency of Civil Aviation (ANAC) is the competent authority for civil aviation in Gabon; they are responsible for regulation, supervision and control of air transport activities. They are the spokesman for any issue dealing with aviation as it relates to International agencies.

Security Formalities (ONSFAG)

The security of the airport platform is provided by the National Office for Security and Facilitation of Gabonese Airports (ONSFAG).

Air Navigation (ASECNA)

The Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA) is responsible for ensuring the safety of transport in airspace.

Air and Border Police (PAF)

The Air and Border Police (PAF) is in charge of the implementation of immigration policy, and in particular the control of travel documents at the borders.

Runway Security (GTA)

Within the National Gendarmerie, the Air Transport Group (GTA) is mainly responsible for runway security and the structures built upon the airport zone in general.

Airport Police Station

The Airport Police Station is a unit of the Police Prefecture which is part of the National Police Force. The mission of the police station is to protect people and property as well as airport security on the city side.

Health Services

Located in the main hallway of the airport, the First Aid Health Center is managed by the Libreville City Council. Its mission is to provide emergency care for passengers at the airport platform.

Refueling (Petroleum Pool)

The management of supplying aviation fuel at the airport is covered by the Petroleum Pool, which is a group of petroleum distribution companies in Gabon.

Catering (Servair Gabon)

Servair Gabon compagny manages the catering activities for most of the companies coming through Libreville Airport.
